DEN Feathers care about the baby's health, the surrounding nature, and a design that makes diaper changing a pleasant moment. How do they do it? They are made from natural and renewable materials, gentle on the delicate skin of babies, and their colorful patterns highlight your children's style.

The diapers are eco-friendly because they are made from natural and renewable materials, do not contain chlorine, phthalates, latex, or perfumes, so they do not irritate sensitive baby skin or cause allergies. On the contrary, strips of natural Aloe vera protect the baby's skin from diaper rash.

Diapers are designed to fit the baby as best as possible, without pressing anywhere, to be breathable, and to keep everything in place. The absorbent core, which consists of a layer of cellulose and SAP gel, firmly locks in liquids and odors. KOLORKY quickly wicks away moisture and leaves the baby's skin dry and calm. All our diapers are dermatologically tested and certified by the National Institute of Public Health - SZÚ.

The product packaging incorrectly displays the CE conformity marking, which should not be present on this type of product according to applicable legislation. The marking does not affect the functionality or safety of the product, which has been tested by the National Institute of Public Health.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera is, in our opinion, a miraculous plant that we swear by. In baby cosmetics, it is mainly used for its healing, anti-inflammatory, and disinfectant effects. Where and why is it in the diaper? Natural aloe vera strips are placed on the inside of the diaper. They care for the baby's skin and protect it from diaper rash.

Pulp
Cellulose has excellent absorbent properties. And when you provide it with the right conditions, it is completely biodegradable. It is made either from annual plants such as flax, cotton, or hemp, or from wood – most commonly spruce in our region. All our diapers meet FSC certification, which guarantees that the wood used for the production of pulp and paper comes from sustainably managed forests. Considering that a child wears a diaper practically all the time during the first two years of life, we consider it important to also monitor the method of pulp bleaching. The bleaching does not involve chlorine, but rather by the TCF (total chlorine free) method, in which oxygen, ozone, or hydrogen peroxide is used. Chlorine leaves a small amount of toxic dioxins in the diaper, which can significantly affect the child's development and impact their immune, hormonal, and nervous systems. Where and why is the fluff pulp in the diaper? It is placed throughout the entire surface of the absorbent system to reliably wick moisture away from the sensitive baby skin.

SAP
SAP, or gel with a high content of superabsorbent polymer, is a widespread organic compound that has not been proven to have toxic or harmful health properties. These are tiny crystals that absorb up to 300 times their weight and also absorb odors. The use of the gel is more environmentally friendly because if diapers did not contain this gel, their consumption would be significantly higher, thus increasing the amount of waste produced. SAP is recyclable, but unfortunately not biodegradable. However, we can assure you that due to its non-toxic properties, it does not burden nature. Where and why is it in the diaper? SAP is antibacterial and absorbs liquid and odor in the diaper's absorption system, so your baby's skin remains dry and protected from rashes and diaper rash.

LDPE
LDPE is a non-toxic and recyclable plastic that you encounter daily. Where and why is it in a diaper? LDPE is in the diaper as a thin film in the absorption system, which prevents fluid leakage; you will also find it in adhesive tapes. This layer also ensures that the diaper fits well and does not cause discomfort. The LDPE film is the diaper layer on which we print the original designs of our diapers using colors.
For Kolorek printing, we use water-based inks that are environmentally friendly. The inks consist of water, water-soluble resin, and pigment. The inks contain no harmful substances, and no harmful effects were found during their testing.

Spunbond nonwoven fabric
It is breathable and lightweight. You can think of it as a very durable fabric created by stretching and folding natural or synthetic fibers. Where and why is it in the diaper? It weaves through the absorbent system, the front breathable fabric, and the elastic waistband of the diaper so that the baby's skin can breathe easily underneath.
